Good Weekend for European Golf

Pablo Larrazabal and Fredrik Jacobson made it a fantastic weekend for European golf with wins at the BMW International in Munich and the Travelers Championship in the US. Larrazabal picking up his 2nd European Tour title after defeating a valiant Sergio Garcia at the 5th play off hole in Munich, both players had opportunities to close the deal but it was Pablo who took his chance on the par 5 18th hole, crossing the Atlantic a few hours later Jacobson enjoyed his first PGA Tour victory with a brilliant 20 under par to beat John Rollins and Ryan Moore for a one shot victory, this was Jacobson's 188th start on the tour and he finally made the winners circle with a faultless 4 days of golf, this victory was on the back of a great week for him at the US Open the previous week at Congressional when Rory McILroy ran away with the championship.
Now both players will enjoy a spot in next months Open Championship at Royal St George's in Kent.
