The Most Controversial Golf Tip You Will Ever Read

Posted by Mark Allen

Over the Christmas period I will be including tips to improve your game. They will include Golf Swing Tips but also Tips Of The Trade that no golf book would ever print!!!!

Quick Tip To Stop A Pull Shot

The pull shot is when the ball starts left of the target (for a right-hander) and finishes left of the target. To stop the Pull Shot you need to put the ball further back in your stance. This will square your shoulders up and encourage your swing path to be on the correct line.

A Tip Like No Other!!

This area will include tips that will give you a competitive edge without having to practice but should only be used in friendly matches and not actual competition. Walter Hagen used this first tip many times during exhibition matches to give him an advantage. All you will need is to wear black (or dark) trousers with white shoes and position yourself so that your feet are in your opponents eyeline. Just before your opponent is about to pull the trigger you need to cross your feet! The contrasting colours will mean that your opponent will be distracted slightly just before the crucial moment causing them to back away or to miss-hit the shot. I must stress that this tip should only be used in friendly matches with good friends and not in an official competition.
